Solotica Hidrocharme - Mel / honey appears green on dark eyes. In some lights they appear grayish blue.
I've been wearing prescripted contacts for about 4 yrs now. When I first started I decided to experiment with colored lenses to make my lens wearing more enjoyable. After awhile of wearing colored lenses I made the choice to stay away from them because they dry your eyes out, no matter what brand they are and I started hating the way colored lenses looked... fake.
You probably already know that colored lenses allow less oxygen into your eyes (compared to clear contacts), causing them to feel dry fast, which is very discomforting over time. My vision is much more sharp and clear with clear lenses then with colored and I rarely feel them.
Natural Eye color
BUT I decided to give colored lenses another try when I came across great reviews on Solotica colored lenses. So far I'm very impressed with solotica. The color looks more natural then any other brand I've tried or seen on other people so far. They blend very well with your natural eye color and change in different lighting(Their color is more intense and vibrant in brighter lights and in flash photos).
I would not recommend wearing any colored contact lens brand for more then 8 hrs a day or sleeping with them on! They dry out your eyes and could make them a bit sensitive to brighter lights that can cause headaches (from my experience anyway). Obviously it's not good to deprive your eyes from oxygen and moisture and you will get side effects if you do... the price of beauty.
Soloticas may seem more expensive but they are annual lenses. If your a prescripted user then the price is fairly cheap if you add up on how much you spend per year on monthly lenses. If you do rely on Solotica for vision and use them daily, then make sure you have a spare set of clear contacts or glasses to switch to, if you start to feel discomfort ...which you probably will eventually with colored lenses. You should also carry eye drops with you at all times.

Solotica Lenses
Solotica Is by far my favorite brand for color. I've had soo many compliments on my eyes when wearing solotica. They look very close to natural and the color really stands out. Other colored contact brands I've tried are Freshlook color blends, Freshlook Radiance and Expressions. ProClear is my favorite for clear contacts I highly recommend them! :)
Solotica comes in 3 different types: Naturals, Hidrocharme and Hidrocor
Naturals - Are more recommended for lighter colored eyes or if your looking for a small change in color. They are more translucent than the others.
Hidrocharme - These come with a limbal ring for more intensity. They look great on anyone but they look better on someone with a smaller iris. You will receive the most compliments with these! But the ring could make them appear more unreal, which could be a positive thing.
Hidrocor - Is the most natural looking of the solotica lenses. They are the same as the charme but without the limbal ring. Go for these if you want a less dramatic change of color.
Here are some sites where you can order solotica, remember Solotica is only sold in Brazil and on online Brazilian sites. You will need to convert to Brazilian currency when purchasing.

How long did it take for you to receive your solotica order? Thanks in advance.
It took about a month for them to come in.
Hi first of all you look GORGEOUS with those lenses!!!
I just bought a pair of Solotica on the brazilian website lentesdecontato.net. My total w/ shipping was $147 but I guess it was in brazilian money not sure though. They didn't charge my credit card yet. I also tried to buy from viallure.com.br but it keeps frozen on me. Anyway my question is which site did you buy yours from? Ty XXD
Thanks Chrissy!
When I first herd about solotica I only knew of Viallure so thats where I purchased them. About a month later I read up on the 2 other sites I posted. Someone mentioned that Viallure was actually getting more expensive then the other sites. So you probably saved by purchasing from Lentesdecontato.com. I hope you like your lenses as much as I do! They do sound pricey but it's actually a pretty good deal considering they last 1 year.
Hi Carrie. How much did you pay for you Soloticas? I just checked out the link and did some currency conversion and it around $3,000 dollars! Does that sound right?
Noooo! haha no way, well I purchased with Viallure and it came out to about $200 in total. I Don't really remember but it was in that range. Make sure you order only 1 pair, those Brazilian sites can be confusing sometimes.

I think the Brazilian dollar went down. It should be about half the price that its listed for on the site. But to make sure you should email their customer service.
i saw some being sold at soloticastore.com is this ligit? i havent heard anybody talk about this site. i dont want to get scammed.
hey what's their website??
NOOOO. don´t get it at www.soloticastore.com. they buy from ottica bellucci and resell .. They are from Bolivia and also sell alpaca rugs it sounds funny but true. there is a video at youtube where the seller shows up.

THIS SOLOTICASTORE.COM HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SOLOTICA COMPANY. THEY HAVE PROVEN TO BE LIARS. BE CAREFUL.
lols first of all very pretty eyes!!! But I'm so confused. Is the soloticastore.com really a scam?Because I was planning to order from that website. And I asked a person and she said it cost $50 plus $2o dollars shippping and handling. Can you tell me, which website is safe to say the least or where I can contact them( in english). Thank you
i still haven't gotten a response back from soloticastore.com(after 4 weeks of nothing) so i'm disputing it in paypal. i ordered from wrlens.com and they were shipped w. in 2 days, so to say the least, they are much better. haven't gotten them yet but am so excited! hope this helps
thank you
Well, I did some research about soloticastore.com and they are from Peru and not Bolovia as someone said. It´s true that they sell alpaca rugs at peruvian-spell.com

CARRIE, THANKS GOD I FOUND YOUR BLOGSPOT BECAUSE I WAS ABOUT TO ORDER FROM SOLOTICASTORE. YOU ARE AN ANGEL
I just want to let your readers know that www.soloticastore.com is now www.natlenses.com and www.naturalenses.com. Apparently they had to change the original name after the truth was revealed in this blog.
Ok. I made a mistake. The Spanish website is www.lentesnaturales.com. The spanish version says that they have opened a new office in Brazil. I guess ist´s just another lie from soloticastore
I really want to buy these contacts but i'm worried do they rip easily?
The first time I ordered from viallure. I just ordered my 2nd pair from Wrlens because they ship faster. Mine came within 2 weeks and I paid about $110 total.
My first pair lasted me the full year without ripping. They are a bit thicker then normal contacts because they are meant to last longer. Take care of them properly and they should last you the full year.
